Our Mission
WikiTools exists to help people find the right online tools through honest, independent research. We're tired of review sites that prioritize affiliate commissions over genuine recommendations — commercial relationships never determine our rankings.
No sponsored reviews. We never accept payment for positive coverage.
We identify hands-on testing clearly whenever it's actually been performed, and rely on documented features and pricing otherwise. No vague "expert tested" claims.
Reviews are updated as tools materially change pricing, features or positioning.
How We Review Tools
Every tool on WikiTools goes through the same research process:
- Define the decision: what job is a reader actually trying to accomplish, and what are the realistic alternatives
- Verify product facts: features, plans and limitations checked against current product information
- Evaluate fit: a tool can be excellent and still be the wrong fit for a specific use case or workflow
- Compare alternatives: readers can see the strongest competing options, not just one product in isolation
- Assess value: price relative to features, switching costs, and whether a lower-cost option is good enough
